Kejimkujik Kespukwitk Conservation Corridor Project – mapping ecological and cultural values as a digital story

This presentation will focus on the Kespukwitk Conservation Corridor Storymap and proceed to tell the process of telling stories of the land through maps and pictures. The Corridor is an area of important biodiversity with many Species at Risk and species of high cultural importance to the Mi’kmaq. The project aims to support collaboration and sharing of the data for conservation and connectivity planning. The presentation will feature the public storymap and the historical air photo mosaic created from 1920-30’s aerial photos of the Lake Kejimkujik and Lake Rossignol area.
