Known Boreal felt lichen (Erioderma pedicellatum) and Vole ears lichen (Erioderma mollissimum) thalli were monitored for survivorship, grazing, necrosis, health, and other threats from 2002 to 2021. In 2021 post-mortems were conducted for each host tree known to no longer host any lichens. The results of post-mortems are summarized for each species along with range maps of extant and extirpated host trees and a summary of the population status.
