Olivia Burchell
Municipal & Riparian Stewardship Coordinator
After graduating with a BSc. in Animal Science from Dalhousie University, Olivia joined MTRI in November 2023. She is excited to use her passion for nature to help species at risk in Kespukwitk through her role as Municipal & Riparian Stewardship Coordinator. Olivia works closely with other MTRI staff and partners on developing a stewardship program for lakeshore properties and communities, as well as engaging municipalities of Kespukwitk in species at risk planning. She also maintains the Kespukwitk Conservation Collaborative website. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, drawing, and spending time with her pets.
